caçador de mitos
 Tomado pela necessidade e pela curiosidade, embarquei numa aventura à lá MithBusters – Programa do Discovery Channel. Objectivo: reavivar a bateria do portátil. Mito: colocar a bateria num congelador ajuda a recuperar parte da carga de uma bateria “velha”. Passos: - Descarregar a bateria. - Colocá-la dentro de um saco de plástico. - Colocar o embrulho no congelador por pelo menos 24 horas. - Retirar o embrulho do congelador e deixar que a bateria retome a temperatura ambiente. Limpar os contactos antes de usar. Boa ideia em deixar a bateria ao sol por algumas horas. - Colocar a bateria novamente no portátil e deixar que carregue completamente. Os passos foram executados da melhor maneira possível. A bateria ficou 5 dias no congelador. Passou 2 dias a secar. E quando chega a altura da verdade, do tudo ou nada, resulta num autêntico fiasco!! Sem nenhuma alteração do estado antes de todo este procedimento. Resultado: mito falso!! Goal: to revive the dead battery of my laptop. Myth: placing the battery in a freezer helps to recover part of the charging power of an "old" battery. Steps: - Discharge the battery as much as you can. - Place in a sealed plastic bag. - Place the bag in your freezer for at least 24hours. - Take the bag out of the freezer and leave the battery to return to room temperature. Make sure to wipe off any condensation from the battery contacts before using it. Leaving it in the sun for a few hours may be a good idea. - Fully charge the battery, then run it down again, as low as you can get it. The steps were executed in the best possible way. The battery was 5 days inside the freezer. Then it spent 2 days drying. And when the truth moment arrives, the one of all or nothing, it results in an authentic fiasco! Absolutely no alteration of the state of the battery before all this procedure. Result: myth busted! Conclusion: Sad Nando :( |

Tinhas alguma hipótese teórica que te desse alguma esperança probabilística? Não? Então esse espírito científico?

Não.. só rumores que resultou com algumas pessoas.. Penso que neste caso foi mesmo "fé": esperança cega sem base científica,; juntamente com o clássico "não ter nada a perder". Foi o que vulgarmente se chama de "um tiro no escuro". E por ter sido no escuro, às cegas, falhou redondamente o alvo.
Há muito tempo, quando a barba te espigava ou ainda nem isso, falei-te das limitações do senso comum..., e quem avisa...
