a verdadeira razão
 Este post é de elevada importância. Este post é dedicado a quem nos visita durante o inverno, em especial à minha senhora (como diz o Figo) e aos seus pais.. que ficaram com a impressão que o elevado número de quilómetros que fizeram até lá chegarem os transportou no tempo para um passado muito remoto. Peço assim emprestadas as palavras ao MAT d'O Gémeo Malvado, para mostrar a essas gentes que o frio não nos incomoda porque há uma boa razão a aquecer-nos. Aqui vai: "O Português é Ecologico Já estive em outros países por esta altura e aquilo era só aquecimentos centrais, lareiras, salamandras e outros aquecimentos acessos em qualquer estabelecimento. Aqui não, aqui as casas, autocarros, bancos, escolas e mesmo hospitais, raramente têm dessas modernices. Muita estrangeirada não tem noção disso, porque pensa que o sol abunda todo o ano em terras lusas. Aí é que se enganam, esses bifes, porque cá temos também uns bons meses de frio e chuva, sem essas paneleirices de aquecimentos. Aqui poupa-se em petróleo, gás natural, carvão e madeira; fontes de energia cada vez mais escassas. Sim, é verdade meus amigos, o povo Português no fundo é um povo ecológico. Faz parte da pedagogia Portuguesa, que as crianças desde cedo têm que estar nas aulas de casaquinho e às vezes com luvas. Serve para fortalecer o carácter, prepara a criançada para o grande combate que é, no fundo, a vida. Muitas casas além de não ter aquecimento, também não têm essas coisas do vidro duplo ou isolamento térmico. Isto também poderá ter a ver com o pensamento ecológico, o vidro (isolamento térmico é feito de fibra de vidro) ainda é abundante, mas um dia poderá vir a acabar. Mas tudo isto que referi, não se prende apenas à Ecologia, porque quando o vento gélido entra nos lares portugueses, por baixo das janelas ou por rachas no telhado, podemos traçar uma linha directamente para nossos gloriosos antepassados. Esses marinheiros destemidos que navegavam por grandes tempestades e que também rapavam grandes frios e humidades nas suas caravelas. Sentir o frio na pele, e até ao osso, faz parte da Alma Portuguesa. E até digo mais, o Fado foi sem dúvida inventado numa noite chuvosa e fria, ao pé de uma lareira e com o dente a bater. E não debaixo do Sol, numa qualquer "ocidental praia Lusitana". " |  the real reason This is a very important post. This is a post dedicated to to all foreigners that pays us a visit during the winter time, in special to my lady (as Figo says) and her parents... that got the impression that the great amount of kilometers done to get to us ported them to a remote past. I borrow MAT (from the Evil Twins) words to show all that the cold does not bother us because there is a good reason warming up our hearts. Here goes: "Portuguese are Ecologic I've been in other countries by this time of the year and there were only central heaters, fireplaces and other types of warming devices turned on on every place. Here is not like that, here the houses, buses, banks, schools and even hospitals, seldom have those modern things. A lot of foreign people has no notion about this, because they think that the sun shines all year on our lands. And there is where they got it wrong, because we also have a few rainy and cold months, without those faggot heaters. Here we save petrol, natural gas, coal and wood; every day diminishing sources of energy. Yes, it is true my friends, the Portuguese people are in the very end an ecologic people. It is part of the way of living, that children since early hours have to be in classes using a coat and sometimes gloves. It serves to strength their character, preparing children to the hard fight that, in the very bottom, life is. Many homes, beside not having heater, they also do not have double glass windows or thermal isolation. This can also be related to the ecologic thinking, since glass (thermal isolation is made of glass fiber) is nowadays still very available, but one day may end. But all this, is not only about Ecology, because when the freezing cold gets inside the portuguese homes, under the windows or through cracks in the roof, we can trace a line directly to our glorious ancestors. Those brave sailors that sailed through huge storms and they also went through heavy cold and wet in their caravels. Feeling the cold in the skin, and all the way to the bone, is part of the Portuguese soul. And I even add, Fado was without a doubt invented on a cold and rainy night, shivering next to a fireplace. And not under the Sun, in some ""occidental Lusitana beach"." |
